I bought these headphones for my dad. He is completely blind and wears headphones almost 16 hours a day. He constantly turns on and off the radio to which his headphones are plugged. He listens to the radio, then someone talks to him and he turns it off. I feel like if I'm talking to him and he doesn't find the conversation interesting, he turns the radio back on. But anyway! I wanted to give him something DURABLE. A person who wears headphones 16 hours a day and is blind will have the cord stuck and pulled out all the time. Once the cable is overtightened, you will be unable to hear in one or both ears. I also wanted something beautiful. Some class. The headphones arrived quite quickly. The first thing that struck me was how attractive they are. They looked really stylish. I liked black and silver. They sounded great too! He could hear with both ears. The sound quality was pretty good. He doesn't listen to much music so bass etc didn't really bother him. Headphones sit well on the head. They were definitely noise canceling. (Actually, he didn't like the noise-cancellation because his curious self couldn't hear the conversations around him! Haha!) The headphones completely covered both ears.
