Much more convenient

I bought this for my son who likes to play video games. He's on the autism spectrum, so he has a lot of sensory issues, and the original harness gave him a lot of trouble. It is much better and comfortable enough for him to use much longer. It's even better balanced with the battery on the back. It can be easily adjusted with the dial, so my husband and son can use the same.

Great headset with a minor annoyance

I bought two of these headsets, one for me and one for my son. My son has no problems with the headset. He likes it and I gave him a 5000mah brick. For myself, I use a 10,000 mAh battery. The only thing that bothers me about the belt is the sharp edges. I am bald and when wearing a strap the corner rests against the back of my head causing discomfort almost immediately. Not a bad choice if a battery mount type is required

Based on the build, this appears to be a fairly standard headgear replacement for the Oculus Quest 2, except that it has a dedicated battery slot. The plastic sidewalls are a concern for me as they look like they might break, but I felt the same about a battery free headband like this and had no issues. Better than the official Elite strap

So I didn't want to spend all that money on the Oculus official Elite strap and went for it as it's cheaper and has a good external battery on the back. It's better than I expected! Convenient neck padding not found on all belts of this type, easy to tighten and loosen with the twist knob on the back. With the amount of time I spend using the Oculus Quest 2, the only thing that drives me crazy is the device's lack of battery life. Headset.
