I love puffed sleeves. If I had to choose, puffed sleeves would be in the list of my top choices. When I saw this top, I picked it.FABRICThe fabric of this top is thicker than expected. I would call it a medium denim weight. It is soft enough, but very warm to wear. You don't want to wear this on a hot summer day- it is very hot.STYLEThe style is cute in theory, but on, it is not flattering. The raglan sleeve seams make the shoulders look very sloped and rounded, and there is no definition of the shoulder point. The sleeve going downn to the puff at the elbow is weighted and heavy looking. It looks bulky.FITI wear a size 14-16 misses US and this in a size XL fits very well. It is roomy and has plenty of room for comfort.SNAPSThe snaps are pretty good quality and stay shut. They make it possible to wear this as a jacket and tunic instead of a dress only.THE BOTTOM LINEI am not fond of this dress. It is very hot, not flattering, and I don't like wearing it.MY RATINGTHREE STARS. This dress is okay. but even when I passed this on to my daughter, she was not crazy about it either. She will probably remake it. I think taking the elastic out of the sleeves and cutting them shorter to be more of a flutter sleeve might be a bit more flattering.
