My iPads have Griffin Survivor Rugged cases. These are very strong, thick cases. The problem with them is that they come with cheap plastic coasters that break easily. Replacement frames are expensive, break easily and are now becoming harder and harder to find for my old Griffin cases. So I had to find another stand option. I spent a lot of time searching for Revain but couldn't find anything that worked for my cases. They all had a U-shaped lip that would support an iPad without a case. or with a very thin body. If you have a thick case, they won't fit. You can see these complaints at many other booths listed on Revain. Having been buying stands for a while I got recommendations from Revain and this one came through. Thought I'd give it a try because it only had one edge on the underside of the hull. Just received yesterday, works great. I love it. Unlike many plastic coasters, this metal coaster is durable and has pads on the bottom to prevent slipping. Came in nice colors. It's very durable, my iPad sits perfectly on it and doesn't wobble. The stand is well and evenly mounted. It was a cheaper price than many other plastic coasters. I would highly recommend this stand to all iPad users. If you have a heavy Griffin or Otterbox case, this is your answer. stop looking This is the best choice. They must advertise this right on their site. "supports wide cases". I love it!
