Review on πŸ“ˆ Seca 700 - Eye-Level Beam Mechanical Column Scale for Enhanced SEO by Summer Hendricks

The first days, but the assembly problem combined with the effectiveness of the measures. Mixed bag.

I bought this scale because I didn't trust my digital scale. This is one of those cheaper methods that round numbers slightly to give the impression that they're incredibly accurate, but really just tell you what you want to hear without the number changing until your weight changes by a pretty big one amount changes. . You need more increments than that and don't block digital stuff that you can't tell if it's programmed to give you a number rounded up or down. So I wanted to buy one of these. It's funny that this scale actually told me that the digital scale was pretty accurate up to a quarter pound, but until past that threshold it usually maintained the same weight, which didn't help with weight loss. seems very well made and finished. I preferred this version to the square tube version because honestly it was a bit heavier and seems to fit those old fashioned scales. The less they flex the better, but putting this together makes me wonder if the square tube design might have been the right thing to do. When installing the top main head, one of the tiny self tapping screws went right in and the other seemed to go in just fine. I noticed another reviewer said the exact same thing. It took so little effort that I feel like with too much effort I never found a footing, if at all, to even say it definitely broke, plus the screw is actually too small for the hole drilled and just couldn't bite. It's not mega money, but it's not cheap either, so for a novelty it's a bit annoying. Contact the manufacturers and see if they can recommend a larger screw size. This seems to be the part that stops the spinning top from spinning, so one will probably do anyway, but again, that's disappointing. Also, it seems incredibly accurate. A remarkable thing. The setting of the dipstick is rather illogical. And even when it's set up, it doesn't feel as reliable as a scale. It's meant to be measured under a plastic cover when the patient walks away (I think that would make sense if you were measuring a person's height). quite tall and you were a lot shorter) but the top of the pole that touches your head is almost an inch higher. It wasn't obvious at first so I tried calibrating the gauge to the gauge next to it only to find that it wouldn't calibrate to that and my first thought was that the gauge was poorly made. The nature of the contact is not the same as the measuring point itself for calibration or the reading point :D It is best to set it to one of two locking positions that will allow you to calibrate to your scale (only one worked for me - the other was too wide ), loosen the fine adjustment screw, which allows you to move freely in all directions. For example, measure 35 inches on a tape measure and bring it up to a bar that touches your head and then adjust it on the fine adjustment bracket. until both numbers line up with the point where you will read the number (it seems that this can only be achieved under the measurement fixture. Again, none of the settings on the fixture seem to allow calibration. Finally, tighten the screw, if you find them in the right spot seems a little ott to me but i think once you do it will be taken care of forever i will update the stars when i get a reply from the manufacturer i think they would doing yourself a huge favor if the bolts were as strong as the rest of the setup on that section of pipe.Once you've installed the other bolts it wouldn't be particularly surprising if you removed them, just assuming you can get a decent grip get that feels like big screws. A streak comes out. The measurement is so, weird. It seems like it was designed with the ability to au... f reset a smaller size, more than useful or accurate. If your patient is larger than the lower parameter, the upper part of the beat must be expanded. part, the measurement is then displayed from the point at the top where the rod exits the pit, not the pit. The stopper itself is incredibly flexible and not particularly straight at first, but the bottom sensor is aluminum and strong. Once you've pulled the top out to a great height, it can rock back and forth, combined with the allowed deflection of the stop, making the whole method frankly pointless and inaccurate. We have to remember that being an option on such a scale means it has to work and not be a pointless addition to make it competitive against other brands. If it's not easy to calibrate or is accurate and gives different results, it's better you don't have it at all as it will make your product look worse. At this point in my purchase I am very keen that I will keep the box just in case I need to return. I'll keep using it and see how accurate the scale is. Luckily it seems to be of higher quality than the measure and also has a problem with screws that are too small.

Pros
  • Not cheap but decent
Cons
  • Not reliable
