Review on Crane EE 5950 Ultrasonic Humidifier 8 Ounces by Lily Ellison

nice design, easy to use but stopped working after 1 day.

I have to admit that I really liked this product. When I first got it, it was easy to use. From the box you get a cup, a product consisting of a top and bottom part and 3 wicks. There is a quick start guide on the outside of the box that explains to soak the wick in water for 7-10 minutes. This product will not work without a wick or dry wick. You must use a wet wick. I poured a full cup of water, please make sure the top (with red/blue LED light) is never submerged in water. If you use a tumbler, it usually comes with a protective cap on the top of the tumbler to prevent it from being submerged in water or misused. On mine, after connecting to the power supply, I saw the fog and it worked immediately. The guide explains that sometimes it takes a few minutes for fog to appear. Everything went great on the first day. The next day when I used the product I plugged it in, there was a blue light but never fog. I left it for hours and there was never any fog. Luckily I have a second one where I just replaced the fog roof and after 1 day I can confirm that this new one is defective.

Pros
  • HUMIDITY EVERYWHERE: Crane Travel Cool Mist humidifiers work in any cup of water and come complete with travel case, USB plug, power adapter, starter wicks and travel mug. The mist output is ideal for humidifying small spaces, cars, desks or offices.
Cons
  • The cable is shorter than the others
