Worked perfectly for my needs
I put a new TV on a previous TV mount and the screws I originally had weren't long enough. I bought them and they worked great. In my case, I had to make sure they were long enough to reach the threads, but not so long that they wouldn't tighten on the mount. Can't say more about the screw. Either it works or it doesn't work. It worked.
