High Quality and Affordable Secateurs for Flowers, Houseplants and Garden

Although the Chikamasa B-300 shears are called grape shears, they aren't just for grapes. My mother is a florist and the Chikamasa B-300 scissors are her favorite scissors, as are her florist friends. She prefers this model (carbon fiber) B-300S (stainless steel) and cites the sharpness of carbon fiber over stainless steel. The downside, however, is that the carbon fiber will rust if not properly cared for. However, I have found that this is purely cosmetic and does not affect the performance of the scissors. These sharp, durable and precise scissors are comfortable to hold and easy to use. . The pointed tip fits well through the dense foliage of indoor plants without fear of accidental damage. They cut flower stems with buttery smooth ease. They are also capable of cutting larger logs but I would not recommend this as the carbon fibre, while sharp, can also be brittle and excessive force and twisting can break the shears. This happened to a pair that I used (and abused) for several years while attempting to trim an exceptionally large trunk from an overgrown shrub in my yard. The value and quality of these shears are exceptional and I would recommend them to anyone looking for flower, houseplant or light weight gardening and pruning shears.
