I'm amazed at how well this works for getting popcorn and crumbs out from under my keys.

I don't know what that has to do with being 'thick' but for the money this is a surprisingly good little vacuum! Easy to use! I've found using the brush attachment by hand while vacuuming to stir up food and dog hair stuck under the keys works well. Now all my sticky buttons work fine after a quick vacuum or two. (I have two small puppies who shed on purpose to punish their lazy owner for not brushing them often enough.)
