I've struggled with very oily hair for a while. I had a feeling that trying an almond "butter" shampoo and conditioner might be counterintuitive, but the reviews (and my past enjoyment of this brand's Jasmine Meadow Shampoo Set) prompted me to try this product. I don't usually leave reviews, but I think it's worth talking about. I can wash my hair on a Sunday night, blow dry with a heat protectant and style it on Monday. My curls last exactly 3 days and I don't feel like I need to dry shampoo until Wednesday. Not only do I feel that my hair lasts longer when I use dry shampoo, it also seems to be much more effective after I started using this shampoo and conditioner. I think the smell is normal. It's not fantasy and it's not my favorite, but it's nice. I don't even consider fragrance a sacrifice when I think back to all the days I had great hair. I have long, very thick, relatively unruly hair, and after using shampoo I can run my fingers through it without too much trouble, which is unheard of. Adding conditioner makes it even smoother. I am very very satisfied with this set. If you're struggling with greasy, hard-to-manage hair, I definitely think it's worth a try.
