I was first dissatisfied with my purchase since, based on other customers' experiences, I had hoped for more. Well, three major shortcomings prompted me to return to the store two days later and upgrade this fotik to a WX220 at an additional cost of $2500. The WX220 has impressed me so much that I want to write a review once I've had more time to use it in the field. Benefits that vary: 1. a compact and lightweight design that is sized for women but not men. Two, it requires nonstop firing. The panorama function of a camera 3. Possesses drawbacks: Principal drawbacks: 1. Video formatted in 1080i rather than 1080p (lowercase) as in the previous century. 2. The twitching is real; this is an issue with the overall model, not just a few isolated cases. Third, the zoom lever is quite flimsy and, after purchase, often clung to anything; nevertheless, the following day, it got easier to press. Other drawbacks: First, the case is extremely fragile; everything inside is loose and hanging. The picture quality is just average. I was led to believe that the pictures are excellent, so I was disappointed to find that he takes pictures less well than my 7-year-old soap box (granted, its matrix is better, at 1 / 1.7" and 12 MP, but that was also the case with my soap box back then, so there has been no advancement in the class of soap dishes). Third, the battery life is poor; this is to be expected given the size. Fourth, fingerprints are permanently etched into the screen.
