UPDATED 3/29: I took this on a 10-day hiking trip with me and used it for both my hiking pants and shorts. It worked very well, didn't need much readjusting (maybe like once after a 8-hr hike.). The nylon has not frayed but I am keeping an eye on it. For now I will keep it at 5-star since it had survived the trip and functioned exactly as it was supposed to.I got this belt since I am going on a long hiking trip soon and wanted something lightweight and study, and these definitely live up to the task! I have been wearing this belt daily to break them in and they are extremely lightweight and comfortable. I love that I could choose the size of the belt while ordering so I don't have to trim them myself. These are lightweight belts fit for long hikes or daily wear, but I would NOT use them for CC purposes.
