A few shortcomings

One thing I have to say right away is that this model, the FP 2450, has NO leveling head. When I looked at the diagram in the instructions that called the built in leveling ball I was happy. The quick leveling method is essential when working with video cameras. When I looked at the tripod, I found that there was NO leveling ball. So I moved on to the part of the guide that goes into more detail about the leveling ball. Only then does "if available” appear in brackets. The instructions are not specific to a specific model number, so should cover both the models with the ball and this one without the ball. What a disappointment. I have one more problem. Product description on Revain' The website for this model shows a leveling ball. I'm sure this is an unintentional bug, but it's serious. There will be people who will buy this model thinking it has a leveling ball and then have to go through the hassle of returning it. The reason she almost lost another star is because it takes more strength to hold it than it should. the hydraulic head handle is attached, the hydraulic head spring counterweight is slightly loose, and the center column is not cushioned. The lack of cushioning on the center column means that if you relax the tension to lower the center column and you're not careful, it will collapse. Nothing can stop him. This can damage your device and/or tear off a piece of your hand or finger. when they are in the wrong place. Those things aside, the build quality is good, but not perfect. The latches work as they should, the leg extensions slide in and out correctly, and the rubber feet are interchangeable with the included spikes. A fully extended tripod can accommodate very tall people or small people standing on something to get a high vantage point. The smooth movement of the head works well for both tilt and pan. There are no complaints. The bag/case is pretty good. It is durable, well lined and has a nice zippered pocket on the outside. I hate giving four stars instead of three. The material and general characteristics are as expected, but the shortcomings I mentioned leave a lot to be desired.
