This is a charming little fan. The blue body, landing skids and tail rotor are made of thin steel so they can be decorated with magnets. It took me 30 minutes to assemble and 15 minutes to install. The instructions are not specific to this fan and are more general. If you are unfamiliar with fan installation, this can be confusing. As cute as it is, unfortunately it all ended for me. The lower light cover is simply installed into the body of the helicopter and its diameter is slightly larger than the hole it is installed in. It's almost impossible to keep it perfectly centered without seeing the light placed within. In addition, the light is not bright, as if an incandescent lamp is burning in the room. It is not bright enough for cleaning or working. The brightness or color temperature does not change no matter how many times you press or hold the remote control button. Now for the fan, I have hesitation and stuttering in the motor when trying to start spinning. We checked the electrical connections to make sure they were ok, we even moved them to another room just to make sure there wasn't an electrical problem in that room, to no avail. the engine dies. Needless to say we don't keep it on all the time as I'm afraid it's in trouble and definitely don't want to risk an electrical fire. I don't want to give this a terrible rating that only shines on mine which appears to be defective. So if it worked properly I'll give it 4 stars because the lighting is poor but the one I got is 1 star for the above. Reasons. Thanks!
