This is a beautiful leather purse, but the strap isn't all leather: it's cloth on one side. If you study the picture that shows the strap, I guess you can sort of tell that they have it doubled over on the left side and not on the right, but I didn't understand that it had cloth on one side, I thought it was cloth lined with leather on both sides. It's sort of like cloth straps that you see on casual nylon bags, but it IS softer than those usually are. I really wanted leather since the cloth ones sometimes leave abrasions on clothing. Also the clips on the straps are different from those pictured--not as round. But I still like them and I'm very picky. The wrist strap is all leather, no cloth side. The zippers are the sort that are a bit chunkier than some, like a Perlina handbag often has (or used to). I'm very happy with the quality of the bag, and it's definitely leather. I got the black one and it is quite nice. It has a dark brown lining. I would have given it five stars if it had had an all-leather strap. My LG G6 phone (2.75 X 5.75") barely fits in the outside pocket without its case on, but with a slim case it only fits when you struggle to close the zipper over it, so I won't use it for my phone since I don't want to scratch it. The inner zip pocket works great for my phone, or anywhere else inside. I'll probably return it since the strap just isn't nearly as nice with that cloth side.
