Review on Enhanced SEO: Victorinox Altmont Professional Compact Backpack - The Ultimate Laptop Backpacks by Jennifer Salazar

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Well organized but poorly executed

I've had the backpack for exactly a year. It has the best internal organization I've ever seen in a backpack, which is great because I carry a lot of small items with me (strings, mints, band-aids, lip balm, snacks, and anything else you might need when you're in stuck in a remote conference hotel for a week where everything costs 3x market price). All of these pockets distribute the weight evenly over the full height of the bag, making it slim and comfortable even when fully loaded. The bag is small enough to be carried every day, but has enough space for extra travel gear. The laconic exterior design and strap management system (no dangling straps!) make the bag neat and professional. Unfortunately, about two weeks ago, the padding on one of the straps came loose and kept falling down. A few flaws will probably put me off the hassle of repairing it: dull gray, very poor rainproofing, it takes two hands to open or close each pocket, poor laptop padding, and very small and short bottle holders, which end up being me gave up. It was good enough while it lasted, but it's not quite the sturdy and easy-to-use bag I was expecting from Victorinox.

Pros
  • Solid workmanship
Cons
  • I vaguely remember
