Big but not too bulky. *IMPORTANT NOTE* The detachable carrycot cannot be carried around as it loses its shape when removed from the playpen. It would be great if it could be used in different rooms. Also, like most playgrounds, the "cushion" for the cradle and floor is no cushion at all. she is tough No infant/child will want to sit on it, let alone sleep on it. Therefore, you will have to spend another 40-50 for a mattress or mattress topper that fits this model. But the stuffing it came with is literally plank; It's like putting a baby to sleep on the floor. Very disappointing because we can't even find a proper mattress so we had to fold an old duvet to add a pillow for her, but that's not exactly safe either. If you buy this for the cradle. Do not do that!
