Review on Flameless Battery Operated Candles Flickering by Kristen Smith

We've bought these candles before; We decided to buy dark red ones for the Christmas holidays. Since we live in an apartment building, we have to be careful with real candles; So these battery operated flickering candles cast a realistic "glow" on tables, counters or anywhere else. The only caveat is that you MUST remove the batteries IF you are storing them when not in use. We made this mistake with 4 we had for 2 years and leaving the AA batteries corroded them and affected the metal contacts; They stopped working so we had to throw them away. Therefore, my only precaution is to remove the batteries before storing the candles when not in use.
