Flameless Battery Operated Candles Flickering Review

These are high quality frameless candles with flexible wicks coated in real wax. The color (red/burgundy) is deep and rich. The easy to use timer is triggered by double pressing the button on the bottom of the candle at the time you want the candles to light up each day. The candles burn for 5 hours and turn off automatically. They turn on again automatically after 19 hours. Beautiful realistic flame movement and warm glow. Supplied with remote control "Off/On" for manual control.

Beautiful candles. The timer function works as it should - when you want it. The remote control doesn't work, so I sent in the first set for replacement. The remote has a fresh battery but still doesn't control the candles at all. I've tried different batteries in the remote control with no success. I have also found that when the candles are in the OFF position, they will light up on their own at random times during the day. The battery life is terrible. I would not recommend these candles…

I have several sets of flameless candles including 4 sets of these special candles. These are the best so far! The flame is sooo realistic, just like real wax! I love that they are easy to set up, have a 5 hour timer and create the appearance of a moving flame that rivals real candles (but no fire/burn hazard for the elderly, children and pets). We've bought these candles before; We decided to buy dark red ones for the Christmas holidays. Since we live in an apartment building, we have to be careful with real candles; So these battery operated flickering candles cast a realistic "glow" on tables, counters or anywhere else. The only caveat is that you MUST remove the batteries IF you are storing them when not in use. I love that the top is curved (rather than flat) which is a great design improvement! I love that they match all my candlesticks and candelabra. Like wax with real flame technology. Note, however, that there's a slightly noticeable ring an inch from the top, probably where the batteries meet the component. I don't mind, but some may see this as a downside to this product. Do not buy this product. The remote control didn't work. I've tried unsuccessfully for seven months to get them to honor the warranty by sending all the information requested, including photos (twice) of the inside of the defective remote control. The last communication from customer support was that they have escalated the issue to upper management for review with an apology "for the inconvenience you may have experienced".
