Review on Flameless Battery Operated Candles Flickering by Julie Lorig

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Which timer? and some more thoughts on making

1) What kind of timer? Mining work 24 hours a day. I always have to turn them off manually the next morning. 2) A candle was not lit when I first received it. After doing a little research I found that one of the electrical pins was misplaced and should be slightly bent. I tweaked it a bit and fixed the issue, but I was lucky I could. 3) Candles are too small for every candle holder I own (and I have over a dozen pairs). So to solve this problem. The problem is that I have to wrap tape around each candle before it stands upright. 4) These candles do not flicker as expected. I have several other flickering flameless candles made by a company that they appear to imitate. The "flame" of these chandeliers does not have the range of movement that the originals have. Therefore, the flicker effect is practically non-existent. A guest asked if I taped the flame to keep it from moving. When moving, they appear to be struggling to break free of something, but quickly give up and revert to their immobile existence. 5) I will not buy them again. They do not meet my needs and are not what was advertised.

Pros
  • Not cheap but decent
Cons
  • Nothing
