When you look at the pictures of LED bulbs you might think that they are MUCH brighter than regular bulbs. I didn't think so. I replaced the faulty brake light with an LED and there may have been a slight difference in brightness in favor of the LED, but it wasn't significant. Also, the cost of the LED was about $1 more than regular incandescent bulbs, so think you'll make up for that with durability, but OEM bulbs lasted 7 years. The extra $1 in life will not pay off unless I plan to keep the car for more than another 7 years. Hondas can last a long time, but even after another 7 years I will probably switch to another car. All in all, there wasn't really a good reason to buy an LED instead of going to your local auto parts store and buying a traditional incandescent bulb.
