Very happy with these turn signal bulbs. We have 2 Subaru Outbacks (17 and 18). In the video, the new LEDs are installed on a white car and the standard LEDs are still on the silver car. The video was shot on a cloudy day. VERY DIFFERENCE IN BRIGHTNESS. I ordered another set for a silver car.

First of all I'm happy with this compared to the original bulb as it is MUCH brighter. The reason for the rating of 4 is that the reflective socket is designed for a specific filament position. An LED is essentially a barrel of lights, some of which precede the filament but most of which do not. As a result, directed light is not bundled as intended in the original rosette design, but scattered. I would buy this product again, but just wanted to make sure buyers understood the trade-off.

Nice and bright, but if you're listening to AM radio and not driving in a strong signal area, you'll hear radio interference/broadband hiss on your radio when you step on the Brake. Option 7443 is the worst bulb I have ever seen. Its body is too long, making it difficult to fit into some taillight housings, and worse, its base is too narrow so it doesn't really fit the cartridge. The lamp fell out of the cartridge and is now irrevocably on the ground. the inside of the taillight housing, which is where I think it will stay forever. Absolutely avoid! The lamp is much thinner at the base than other lamps in relation to size, making it very loose! Long story short, I thought it was ok because it couldn't be plugged in anymore. Once I had it in my headlight and I screwed the end of the headlight socket back into the headlight, the bulb fell out of the socket and is now sitting in my headlight. Great product! As you can see in my video the LEDs are shown on the left and regular halogen turn signals on the right. It's just as bright (if not brighter) and looks more sophisticated/luxurious to my eyes. When you look at the pictures of LED bulbs you might think that they are MUCH brighter than regular bulbs. I didn't think so. I replaced the faulty brake light with an LED and there may have been a slight difference in brightness in favor of the LED, but it wasn't significant. Also, the cost of the LED was about $1 more than regular incandescent bulbs, so think you'll make up for that with durability, but OEM bulbs lasted 7 years.
