First impressions don't last long

I ordered these boots for my 12 year old son who admittedly doesn't like his shoes. I'm constantly on the lookout for well-made, durable, and reasonably priced shoes for him. and honestly it looks like what most parents are looking for. In early October 2018, I paid $42.71 for "Dark Grey/Red, 7 Medium American Large Kids" and the seller was Revane. I also bought them for $49.99. at the same time (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00HZ0ENM4/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03__o00_s00?ie=UTF8&th=1&psc=1When the order arrived I was impressed by the rubber soles and the high quality of both pairs I was delighted! Finally i found quality shoes at a reasonable price boy said they are very comfortable no need to break them in and they are also attractive This pair there is a hole in the top of the shoe near the big toe and the tread is Worn to the point that I'm looking for another pair of shoes for them because they won't last the rest of the winter and with the hole in the toe they are no longer waterproof Unlike these boots the other Northside junior tracker boots were, which i bought for my other son amazing only pair of shoes for 4 months and considering they were the one as good as any merrell shoes we had think junior tra cker boots, not those sneakers.
