good fan and light. LED light bulbs actually emit light! So many fans these days come with junk lanterns that you can't see well enough to read them. not this one. It is also the main screw in lamp holders. So you can change any color or brightness to your liking. the installation went smoothly. but I've installed several of these over the years so I was already familiar with the procedure. a few notes. Blue cable for fans. black for light. (Mine, anyway.) I'm picky and wanted the light switch and fan to be where I wanted them. Light on the left, fan on the right. also the motor housing (large cover) does not reach up to the ceiling. So I adjusted the mount to make the gap even around it. It was nice that my OCDfan didn't need balancing even though it came with a balancing kit. This is a 42 inch fan that I installed in a medium sized room. and I think it's the perfect size. the fan is also very quiet.
