If you want to test your marriage, buy this fan! Looks nice? Yes! Is that a high price for a product? Yes. Does it come with clear instructions? ABSOLUTELY NOT! My husband and I are both experienced people and it took THREE HOURS TO INSTALL THIS FAN. The instructions basically say assemble. and use screws. the? (there are three types?!?) Basically, if you want to scream with your spouse and do a 3 hour arm workout, this is the product for you! All in all I would buy it again! It's the perfect look for our house and it works great, it was worse than pulling out a tooth to put it back together. Once you have one installed, the next ones will go smoothly! NOTE: If you are using an extension pole it simply plugs into or hangs from the mounting bracket, but if you want it to be fixed firmly to the ceiling you will need to remove the 3 screws at the top of the motor and attach the hood! That's not in the instructions.
