I decided to add an SAE battery charging cable to my motorcycle battery for two reasons: the first allows charging when my bike needs it and the second is designed to work with a USB charger (Production Deltaran). I had to run a fairly short charging cable from the battery to the handlebars and used it to bridge the gap. 12 feet was a bit longer than I needed so I bundled the excess cable as I fed the cable through and pulled it up the side so it didn't get in the way. I now have a SAE cable routed through the handlebars where I need it. Plug a USB charger into it and I can charge my phone while driving. The cable works perfectly!
