
Originally I wanted to return the device. When I received it my old computer had no internet connection so I had to call customer service. The person I spoke to on the phone wasn't very helpful. He kept asking me for my serial number. I only received the cable and had to download the software. After a few minutes on the phone, I found the serial number in the instructions inside the box. (I think their associate knows how to direct me to instructions). Too much information was requested after verification (old and new computer names and IDs). I was very concerned about the hack. When I brought up the subject, he hung up. Not very professional. I also learned that I can purchase a LapLink product for the same price as my apps. Now I'm forced to install all my applications manually. I had to send it back. live and learn
