I love how easy it was to navigate through my code, as well as being able to use snippets which saved me time writing some of this repetitive boilerplate stuff over again! The only thing that's slightly annoying (but not enough) about Textmate are all its hidden settings menus - they're in plain sight but you have no idea what any setting does unless you go digging around them yourself until you find out by trial & error or reading up online somewhere else first.
But even then there isn't always an obvious way to know if something will change your behaviour without actually trying each combination/setting before knowing whether anything changed at all. So far so good with using TM instead of another IDE like Eclipse etc., although sometimes when working remotely via SSH connections where other people might be editing files too close together it can get messy quickly because we don’t see who has done changes yet just from looking back into.
