As everyone says, what a great video light is this? is anyone recording sound Light is a great cheap option and if you buy it in a super sale like I did you can save a lot. But if you turn this thing on, there's no way you're going to be able to record sound in the same room. I have a desktop workstation with multiple 200mm fans cooling them and they don't make half as much fan noise as this thing. The accessories are definitely cool, but there are little things like a remote control that wouldn't work for me unless it was tethered to a power supply. So does my wireless remote control need to be plugged into a power source? The? I have a 120d Aputure and the brightness of this light is much higher than this one. But this light costs $700. Okay, but I can turn the brightness down to ten percent. This light is almost half as bright even at 10% and a quarter turn of the dial and you are 100%. The color temperature shift is very nice and I'm sure the softbox is pretty good although I've never adjusted mine. I don't understand how you can have marketing material that shows three of them in close proximity to the camera and call it video light. Is that then the photo/silent video keep in mind. You can get a $200 panel light with less power but more comfortable to use because you don't need a softbox and it's small enough and just enough to shove close to the subject. It's not bright enough to be far from the subject and too loud to be close. I am returning mine even though I have a great deal. I just don't see it working for me at all.
