Overall I like these chairs but my second order had a major defect which caused me a lot of trouble to return and replace. I ordered a chair first to make sure we liked it. The chair was perfect and looked great with our rustic table. So I went ahead and ordered 9 more chairs. We unpacked and assembled all 9 chairs but it took a few days to get them into the dining room due to some renovations. As soon as we placed them at the table we realized that there was a major manufacturing defect and that all 9 chairs were welded in the wrong position so when the chairs were assembled the top of the chair was 2-3 inches off center and very clear and distinct. clearly wrong. The first chair had no such problem. It took over 4 hours to disassemble and repackage all 9 chairs (plus 4 hours I lost unpacking and reassembling) and arranging UPS shipping for return. I've asked for replacements so I'm hoping the next 9 aren't done wrong either. If the next set comes back as perfect as the first chair we ordered I will be happy to upgrade my rating to 5 stars because the chairs are really perfect and beautiful! Update: I received 3 replacement chairs and 2 of them had the same defects! Returns were a nightmare and I spent hours in support chats because they, in turn, didn't understand how many labels UPS required due to the size of the boxes. The photos I've added show how the back of the chair is 2-3 inches from the table on one side, and the cross bar on the bottom of the chair shows how far off center it is compared to the spindles . It just needs to be welded in the wrong place, which will shift the entire chair. We had 10 out of 12 defective chairs and it was a huge hassle to unpack, assemble, pack, transport and return!
