Review on 👓 Optical Clarity BionicShield S8500 – Clear Polycarbonate by Genene Locson

Recently decided to take up blacksmithing as a hobby. I didn't want to continue living my life by making bad decisions and not wearing a mask fiddling with an angle grinder and steel. My friend was in this sign last night when he turned off the fire extinguisher and I'm glad he was and he was too! When cutting, the cutting wheel began to break from overuse, and a piece fell into the shield just below his left eye. I couldn't imagine it doing too much damage other than a nice slash, but this shield prevented that. No sparks or shrapnel hit him in the face. In terms of durability, it's a weak shield if not tightened. Oh, and remove the tape from BOTH sides of the mask so you can see. Great purchase and would buy again if I need to.
