We have used the wireless network with Windows 7, 8 and 10 without any problem. We recently switched ISPs and got a different router. The printer seems to work fine with a Windows 7 computer, but not an 8 or 10. We had a job so I bought one of these cables to try. Arriving quickly, nicely and neatly packaged, this cable got me up and running with my Brother MFC laser printer straight away. Users may need to update drivers when switching from a wireless connection to a direct USB connection. I have ordered 2 more of these cables for a different use. Cable length and feature limitations seem to be a thing of the past with this type of cable. Thanks for a great product.
