The cables in this kit are too short and not modular. Example: The speaker input cable is hardwired to the right speaker. I have a dual 19" monitor setup and my laptop is on the docking station to my left. The input cable from these speakers is not long enough to run from the docking station and behind the two monitors to the right speaker. You need to consider the cost of an extension cord when considering these speakers. Also, the speaker wire that goes from the right speaker to the left speaker is very short. Adequate to get around my setup, but it's tricky to make some connections with extra produce wire if you need more space between the speakers. The cheap Dell speakers that came with my laptop have long modular cables. I am very disappointed in Logitech for being so cheap with this set.
