Something about these lamps -1 - Golden color and brightness are perfect. But that's the only win of these lamps.2 - They don't save memory, so every time you turn them on, they reset to the first setting. Worse, Always On (the most humble setting) is the last setting, so it takes you 8 clicks to get there. The first setting has a pretty awkward backlight in my opinion, so that's not an option for me. *If you plan on using a timer and don't like the first setting, you're screwed.* 😒3 - There's no indicator on the transformer either, so I hope you counted correctly by scrolling through the settings . Our lights are hanging where I can't see them from the transformer, so I have to go out to check them every time. 4 - The transformer is not designed for outdoor use, so you cannot use an external socket. Lame.5 - Icicle strands are very long (nearly 3 feet). It says so in the description but the icicles in the stock photos are much shorter so I didn't realize that when I bought it. Good luck finding lamps! I will watch again next year. Pooh.
