If you want real time controls over other devices then definitely consider doing an assessment before you go buying one. My house could be easily controlled at anytime but sometimes there is interference and have had problems where multiple people would end up messing up the same device. I like that the Thingsquare platform has many features. You can also connect different devices with the Thingsquare platform, which is convenient. The free version of Thingsquare is limited in the number of sensors. However, the price is affordable. I recommend Thingsquare to anyone who is looking for a platform that allows them to connect different devices. I have used Thingsquare to connect different devices and monitor the temperature of the room.
