My teenager wanted a denim vest jacket and I know this item will not be available in stores - because it's Spring! Because I buy too much from Revain I bought this oversized vest. I did this because many of the garments sold at Revain are not made for the US market. Or in other words, they may work very little. With that in mind and the fact that a young girl wanted a plus size version we bought the XXL size. We opted for the dark denim version. The seams are copper-colored, which sets a nice accent. The design is well chosen. On the back there is a double yoke with narrowing to the waist. In addition, there are two pull tabs that allow you to tighten your waist even further. * The BIGGEST flaw I notice after only a month of infrequent wear and one wash is the seams have torn. It is obvious that the thread used does not meet the requirements. I'll post a photo later so you can see what I'm talking about. But under the armpits the thread just broke, which is a pity, because the work of the stitch itself is very pleasant. (I'll also include photos from the good times.) A small downside is that the collar flexes and the fabric fades. SUMMARY I'll fix the stitching if that becomes a problem. I love the design/style. This vest which we bought in plus size looks very cute. Like many foreign-made items, it is significantly smaller than the listed size. If we were to buy "large/sometimes medium" as is usual in the youth department, this vest would be too small. XXL fits like a roomy Large.
