Heavy, strong and has a hard surface. This worked for my use, although I had major problems with the Toyota sensor. It's not the tool's fault, just a cramped position with no leverage. It'll hit hard, especially with those rusty pickups, but be aware of this design. It's open on one side, so calculate how much effort you can put into it. My complaint about this connector is that the end that goes around the O2 is too rounded. I understand they round the edges to make it easier, but since the sensor's "mother edges" are so thin, it would help to have a flatter edge on the socket. Less risk of rounding. One day I'll get a car just to see if it helps. If that brand wants a 5 star rating, they will sell it with no need for change.
