Seems to be good quality but not for me.

Appears to be good quality but did not suit my application on my BMW E46 1999 323I. I've used the regular long socket on pre-cat O2 sensors, but I could use these as well if I wanted to. I bought this for O2 post cat sensors but the space and angle made it unsuitable for that. I had to order from BAVAUTO. They have a lower profile and points (teeth) inside the base run the full length, allowing it to be used at different angles and upside down. This one from Tekton has dots on the bottom which…

Great socket, strong material, slightly rounded but upgrades

Heavy, strong and has a hard surface. This worked for my use, although I had major problems with the Toyota sensor. It's not the tool's fault, just a cramped position with no leverage. It'll hit hard, especially with those rusty pickups, but be aware of this design. It's open on one side, so calculate how much effort you can put into it. 1 star for distance; 4 stars for installation

I just replaced my oxygen sensor at 18. old RAV4. If the sensor has been there for a long time, this tool will not pull it out. As others have said, if you try to apply too much torque to it, a slot will open up on opening. To remove a stuck sensor: 1) Use a vise to pry the sensor off the base (or enough to complete step 2). 2) Use a 22mm or 7/8 inch deep socket and pry bar or ratchet if there is no room to align the breaker. Hit it with a big hammer (small sledgehammer) and pull like crazy. 3)

Good. This item saved the day on my 2003 Elantra. Hyundai corrected the incorrect top track width angle on the 2004 model, but pre-2004 this is a bottleneck. It worked. hardly. (almost rounded sensor)

worked, but hardly. I first sprayed penetrating oil on the O2 sensor and let it sit, but as I started using the outlet it started slipping off the sensor. I almost rounded the hex on the sensor. I continued to work on it as carefully as possible and finally solved the sensor. However, this socket did not match the bottom sensor, so I was happy to have both types. And yes I know how to loosen the bolt, it was like the bushing wasn't tightened enough and could therefore slip a bit when tightening

This works fine as long as your O2 sensor isn't rusted or frozen on. Heat might help, or replacing that part of the exhaust might be the way to deal with really rusted gauges. I've heard people abandon the old stuck sensor and weld a new place for it. (Drill a new hole and weld on the other car's threaded part. This tool crawled all over me and was about to slip. Although I'm not entirely sure it's fair to blame the tool. It does have one Wire gap and is tends to spread to very high torque…

Used with a jackhammer. If you use a ratchet it will be difficult to remove from the O2 sensor tool, it is not designed to remove the sensor completely just to loosen the old one and tighten the new one on the last turn. If you are using a ratchet, simply loosen it and remove the ratchet, leave the tool on and use your hand to add leverage to rotate the O2 sensor. If you are using penetrating oil to get the old sensor out, I recommend spraying some failed parts cleaner on the exhaust threads…
