worked, but hardly. I first sprayed penetrating oil on the O2 sensor and let it sit, but as I started using the outlet it started slipping off the sensor. I almost rounded the hex on the sensor. I continued to work on it as carefully as possible and finally solved the sensor. However, this socket did not match the bottom sensor, so I was happy to have both types. And yes I know how to loosen the bolt, it was like the bushing wasn't tightened enough and could therefore slip a bit when tightening the torque. If you buy this socket, it will work. But I suggest making sure that the socket stays fully down when tightening the sensors, otherwise you could end up in a very bad situation. I'm not sure how you would get rid of a rounded O2 sensor. Maybe an easy way out? pipe wrench? Whatever the best solution, I'm glad I didn't have to invent it.
