batteries are good; Charger is fragile junk

I bought a Line6 DL-4 battery and charger because it has a very cheap AC adapter and footswitch problems but I wanted to spend a few more hours, days, months or years finding an aftermarket one model repair The batteries are working. I get over two hours of battery life. I don't use the Line6 DL-4 as an always-on guitar pedal. I'm pretty sure a guitarist's mileage can vary when someone like Ed O'Brien or Subarachnoid Space goes nuts. If you're paying your bills, I'd keep a supply of hot spares. C. The charger was working, charging fast, at least as fast as it was delivering mA for about four months. The two 9V DC ports are a nice touch. Four four would be better. Do not drop the charger. I wouldn't store it anywhere on the floor, and I would prevent the cord from being pulled out in the dark by stray or musical mammals. The charger in the plastic box is thin. Molded edges on the vias are rough or poorly finished. Positive metal contacts appear thinner, optically misaligned and thinner than other similar products. The negative side of the battery is spring loaded to hold AA/AAA/C/D batteries and feels a bit more solid. Overall I'd say it's a charger that looks like a bubble gum toy machine. I kept the charger on the bottom shelf, it didn't seem to get in the way. The cord got unplugged, the charger fell 6 inches to the floor, and now it's a 3-battery charger instead of a 4-battery charger, with one charging point in constant error. The charging box gets hotter like a resistor and now it does too, which is nice. Seems like a raw deal. Four months ago. A fall. The chargers I bought from Costco seem to be more reliable and robust. Like the difference between Hotwheels, Matchbox, and the nameless brands that grew out of the gumball machine. Someone designed these chargers so poorly, like a winning strategy, like a sweepstakes with estimates of who survives and who breaks. , and those who receive warranty claims. I love batteries, it's a shame the design team tried to maximize their revenue with unreliable design and use of materials. My review.
