I bought a set of 10 2 pin LED connectors because I thought it would save me time building a connector that would be about a 4-inch -Cable included. not correct. I'm a pretty practical guy. I'm a mechanical engineer by trade and do a lot of home projects. I've done the basic wiring before and had no problems. I spent 3 days tying 2 strands of LED strips together. These things made me doubt myself again and again. As it turns out, these bitches don't actually conduct electricity from the plug to the cord. It took me hours to fix my voltmeter and tried different ways to get these things to work. I finally got one of these to work by stripping the wire and doubling it back onto the unstripped portion of the wire before pasting it Gooutin style. Connection. However, this method could not be repeated due to the inherent short circuit you would get if the two stripped ends touched. After a few days of self loathing and anger I ordered a repair strip to connect the plugs and my project jumped into lightning speed. Easy to use and my skills are back. I felt like the Space Jam guys after getting their abilities back from the evil aliens. Don't let this crappy product waste your time and confuse you. Find another option
