Ok, the response time is excellent. Like the range. Philips Hue is quite expensive compared to other Zigbee bulbs because the ecosystem is tightly controlled. Philips limits the number of lamps per group to maintain performance. I also think that Zigbee LL (the one used by Philips) is much faster for lighting control compared to other Zigbee HA protocols due to compatibility between other types of Zigbee devices. Hue gave me a 10 second delay, which was very annoying. Combined with the non-simultaneous switching of lights and scenes, it was terrible. Keep in mind that the same Zigbee sensor that powers other Zigbee HA lights was acceptable. Not great, but acceptable. Philips' response time in its own ecosystem is great. Bad, unlike a regular Zigbee motion sensor (specifically a Sylvania/Ledvance paired with a Wink hub), the Philips motion sensor is very limited in its capabilities. It has a great ambient light sensor, but everything else has to be done through the Hue app, which is very limited. You only have 2 time zones for 2 scenes. The sensor can control just one light source or ALL the lights in ONE room. To simulate separate lighting control, you need to script all the lights in the room. And again you only have 2 slots to choose from. The Hue app is probably the most limiting part of this sensor. It's easy to set up but very limited in what it can do.
