492 per roll, absolutely annoying.

September 21, 2021 UPDATE:-----------------------------------It gets worse. I just got a roll that had 520 labels on it, then this last roll ran out at 477. These rolls are way off! I always keep count because when you run out of labels, you have no clue how many it actually printed, or how many you're short on. So you then you have to manually count the labels by hands to know where you're at. It is time consuming and tedious. That is why I always keep count. So I don't print more than I have. I would avoid this listing. You are not getting 500 per roll. How can you trust that I'm not the one that's losing count? Because it's happened over and over. I'm not this bad at math. LOL! I print using photoshop. I keep a tally. For example, my latest work required printing three unique skus at 300, 150, 100 a piece. I started with a fresh roll. 300 printed no problem. Then the 150, no problem. So that's 450 used. I should have 50 left, but many of these rolls have been ending at 492. So for the last 100, I set it to 42. I'll then print the rest, 58, in the next fresh roll. I didn't even get 42, I got the "OUT OF PAPER" alert. Opened up my Dymo, freed the label, and started manually counting. 27. So that's 477 labels. These batches are bad.ORIGINAL REVIEW:----------------------If you're not counting, then you wouldn't be the wiser, and you'd be happy. But if you actually need to keep count of the skus you print, you will be annoyed. I don't like to print more labels than I have because the printer will say, "OUT OF PAPER," and then you have to count by hand how many it printed, so you would know how many more you need to print. I avoid that situation by keeping count always. For several days, I keep messing up, I thought I was the one who was losing count. But it was very clear to me on my latest batches that the problem was the rolls, not me. I started with a fresh roll. I needed to print three different skus at 121, 200, 174, that's 495 labels. I ran out of paper at 492. This explains why I've been pulling my hair for several days. To be fair, this is my second order from them. I did not have this problem on the first order. This might be just a random issue. But it messed up my flow of work for several days. Very annoying.
