Review on AOC 27 Inch 2560x1440 Monitor - Renewed, Frameless Design, Quick Release Stand, Blue Light Filter, Height Adjustment, HD Resolution by Matthew Bradfield

Revainrating 4 out of 5

The monitor is great for the price. But

I've had this monitor for about a year now and here are my thoughts. Ghosting when playing games or watching fast-paced movies can be a little annoying at first, but you get used to it. from human to human. I recommend looking for a monitor with much less ghosting for the same price; which you can probably get if you're looking for something with no curves. This monitor is a true 2560x1440 monitor. This is my first 1440p monitor and the picture quality is amazing to me. As for the brightness, I think it's quite suitable for the average person. I rarely see reflections in the monitor; and i have sensitive eyes so the brightness is more than enough for me. Rtings.com has a review of this monitor so you can read more about the specific details there. at the speed your monitor is designed for. As for me, if I have money. I will probably buy Odessi G7 from Samsung. Because I want that nice curve, but with minimal halo. Keep in mind that the monitor is twice the price of this one. Is it worth the money? hard to tell. However, I can say that it does what the manufacturers promise. Though I wish the ghosts were a little better.

Pros
  • HDMI is awesome! I'm sure if you plug in HHD it will look even better in games.
Cons
  • The monitor was working great until today when I encountered this problem after turning on my computer.
