This watch is very well made. I love it. The heavier the watch the better crafted it is in my opinion and this watch was quite heavy for a women's size. It's self-winding, which isn't a problem, you just need to wear it often, and if you're not doing it, or if you're wearing it every other day or taking it off to sleep, you might need to either rewind it a bit or reset the time . But you move your arms so much that they stay fairly open and keep the beat. I found it a bit small but I have big wrists for a woman I guess I always worry about that. So it's just me on the other end. I'm sure LOL women with a normal wrist size will find this watch totally flattering and great for everyday wear. I highly recommend this watch! Carnival is a good solid brand.
