You get what you pay for
Came with no instructions - had to take it apart to deal with the battery cover then the batteries wouldn't go in then the cover wouldn't close. As others have said, the blinking is not adjustable and has crazy cycles. Some of the branches are hard to find to turn around. All in all hardly acceptable - next year I'll treat myself to a better (small) tree. I haven't carried balls so don't know if I can turn them off without dropping them (the switch is on the bottom so has to be pulled up to turn on and off).
