After purchasing my first set of these casters I was so impressed with their smooth, almost effortless movement that I ordered additional replacement caster kits to come with my storage cabinets. I've had this and the 4" versions installed for a while now. The problem is that tires will go flat; if the cabinet is not moved for a period of time and the casters are subjected to any load (single cabinet less than 50lbs/ 4 inch).rollers or 12.5 pounds per roll) a puncture occurs in the tire that sounds and feels like you're pushing a damaged shopping cart down the grocery store aisle (knock, knock, knock and knock on, on and more.). Unfortunately, flat surfaces are almost impossible to repair once installed. I recommend that you research your tire compound carefully before purchasing casters. Even just because the load capacity of a caster/set of casters sounds impressive doesn't mean that that they will also sound so impressive when you push this closet around four flat tires.
