The fitness headphones I was looking for! Most of time.

I grew up in the 80's and these headphones are unlike any headphones I've ever owned. I think people compare them to Sony but they were very fragile and cheap. They are high quality and very durable with great sound. I only use headphones at the gym and that's probably the hardest place to test them. All that movement and sweating quickly reveals the weaknesses of many other headphones I've used. I can't use headphones when I'm sweating so much. With over-ear headphones, my ears feel like they're on fire. This is an open ear to allow air to move and heat to dissipate. Since they have open ears I was a little worried about sound leaking out, but surprisingly very little sound comes out. Pros: Clarity of sound. The frequency range is impressive. The only other headphones we have that allow us to clearly hear and distinguish each instrument in a well-recorded song are my wife's Bose. Sure, it's not Bose quality, but it's not far off either. Also, I don't want to spend more than $30 on sports headphones. She is. :(Volume. I don't like killing my eardrums, but I do like it loud from time to time. Despite the lack of volume controls, they sound loud enough. One knob design? I thought I hated it. Others have controls"Next", "Previous", "Play/Pause" and "Volume". It has a button. But I'm used to it. When it's on, use i just did it to miss a song i heard too much style no one has posted pics of white i don't like the way black and orange look so i took a chance and went with white i'm glad i did They seem to go with everything I wear They stand out and look way better than the white ones.black.Extra ear pads. This is good as I can wash and dry the pair while still using the headphones. Both the orange and gray look good. Cons: No volume control. I keep my MP3 player cinched around my waist , so it doesn't really matter that much. In any case, I rarely have to regulate the volume. annoying voice She sounds like an uptight girl from the valley. It keeps telling me the battery is low even after charging it all night. When you turn off the power, she says "nnn goodbye". Sounds brash. For some reason I prefer the voices they use on cheap Chinese devices. But I can't hear it just by turning them on, plugging them in, and turning them off again when they're not on my head. Location of the charging port. I agree with everyone else on that. It's a silly place to put a charging port. I find the USB cables from the dollar store to be a better fit than the cable that came with it.
