Overall, these are good smart light strips. They are heavier than other ribbon lights I've worked with. Their weight makes installation easier as they naturally lie flat. Without special adapters or tape, I was able to work around corners with the light bar. I focused on how to deal with the corners and bought 6 pin L adapters to use in the corners but they were totally unnecessary. It was a big bonus. It connects to Alexa very easily, understands percent commands, and changes colors with just one voice command. It has a remote control but I don't use it because I prefer to use voice commands. This light band has three main disadvantages. First, the station is quite large. I use these in my crown molding and had to dig a hole in the crown molding so I could hide the transmitter out of sight. The other thing is I bought one of this brand's extension kits and the connector that came with the kit is about 4 inches long which creates a gap in the lighting (see video) that you can see. I doubt most people will notice, so it's not a big deal, but it still annoys me a bit. Second, the length of the cord is pretty short if you use it to shape a crown. I used these strips in my bathroom so the outlet was quite high so it fit me. But if I installed them in my bedroom, where the outlets are closer to the floor, I would have to use an extension cord. The disadvantages are not decisive compared to the advantages.
