As mentioned, this works for a small size. My daughter doesn't have a particularly large head, and trying to get it on and off feels like she's born again (you had to put it on most of her head first and then pull hard). It was so difficult that after we finished the second set of family photos I bought it for, I told my husband to cut it off her. In addition, it is made of very thin material. The same boys turtleneck sweater I bought for my oldest daughter fits much better and is made of much better material. The only difference in style is that it doesn't have any ruffles around the neck.
